Bolton Museum, Aquarium and Archive
Bolton Museum, Aquarium and Archive, in the centre of the town, is where the wonderful story of Bolton and its people is brought to life. From the every day to the extraordinary, Bolton’s tale is rich and varied and we’ll tell you all about it. If fish are your thing then visit our aquarium – the only free public aquarium in Greater Manchester – and one of our most popular attractions.
The History Centre, our brand new archive research centre at the museum, is a treasure trove of objects and information about Bolton’s past and its people.
